Ashton Deroy Writes: A common trend when discussing Labor Politics is Older people bringing up the evil known as Self-checkouts. They take our jobs away! AHHHH! The store is getting away with sales without providing a cashier intermediary! AHHHH!

We shouldn’t need to deal with another person just to pay our bills or Groceries. Just pay for it & move on. That is my honest opinion but if you want to get more nuanced. I don’t avoid the checkouts because of the checkout Person. I avoid the checkouts because of the psychotic customers I end up behind.

Talking to you “Anybody who has returned Milk.” You are a pimple on society’s *** !

This woman at the Freshco is either price matching or Couponing a number of items. I couldn’t care less which she is doing… Just get out of my **** way now!

If I was going to volunteer to protest self-checkouts. We’d have to agree to a set of rules!

  1. No coupons or Price matching.
  2. No buying your Month of Groceries in one trip. Not sure if these people are camping or Factory workers. But **** !?!
  3. No stupid returns. Like a F*** bag of milk or some oven pastries you already baked! Just take a hike and eat the cost. Some Grocery stores handle returns on Checkout lanes.
  4. No paying for your order in Nickels. You people who pay for S**** in small change are psychotic!
  5. No empty cash registers (Especially if you are an all checkout person store.)
  6. No Lingering Conversations. IT’S A CHECKOUT AISLE NOT A TEA PARTY!

Until we all agree to these things. I will be @ the self-checkout.

If you’d like to use a self-checkout go to

Shopper’s Drug Mart

Wal-Mart

No Frills

Giant Tiger has them to, but **** those guys they gave me a concussion two years ago!
